The past couple of weeks I have been plagued with so many questions related to mothering. My hubby and I had a conversation recently while he was feeding A, and he made the comment: "I feel like I'm doing this wrong." That's when I had the realization that his statement pretty much sums up what it's like being a new parent: you feel like you're doing everything wrong.
You have nothing to compare this experience to, despite what people say about owning a pet beforehand and "parenting" them. It's really not the same. A little human can be a lot more difficult to raise! That being said, I want to do things a little different today. I want to ask YOU mamas out there some questions that will hopefully not only benefit me, but all the other mama readers out there!
Ready? Here we go!
1. When did you introduce baby food, and what did you introduce first?
2. What was teething like for you? What did you use/do to relieve your little one's pain?
3. When did your little one(s) start sleeping longer than 4 or 5 hours at a time? Did something you did make the difference? Did it happen all on its own?
4. What did you do on those sleep deprived days when you thought you would lose your mind?
Mamas, answer one or answer all of them! Any advice or answers will most definitely be appreciated! Based on my questions, I think you have an idea of what our lives have been consumed by! We just introduced baby food, and it seems to have gone over pretty well. Hasn't impacted sleep that much, but I am trying my best to celebrate the little victories!
I can't wait to read what you all have to say! Know that your time and experience is appreciated here!
